Welcome to Think Happie!

I created this blog to provide support, inspiration, and encouragement to those of us who have a little trouble thinking positively sometimes.

Life can be stressful and can take a toll on us both physically and mentally. Some of us, though, are vulnerable to mental health issues brought on by daily struggles.

I first noticed symptoms of mild depression and anxiety in 2010 when my grandmother passed away. It was difficult losing a family member and then leaving my loved ones to return to college two states away. First, I assumed that I was in such low spirits because I was grieving. After a while, though, I could tell that was not my only issue.

Since then, I have been more in tune with the things that affect my state of mind. We’re all different, and we should pay attention to our own bodies to find out what works and what doesn’t work to control anxiety and stay positive. My hope is that some of my experiences will shed light on what things you can try to live more peaceful and fulfilling lives.

When you visit Think Happie, you’ll find ways to overcome day-to-day challenges with relation to mental and overall health. I will discuss mental health concerns, physical fitness ideas and motivation, fun and relaxing activities, and some of my favorite products that bring me happiness.
