What’s In My Purse?
Don’t you hate it when your purse is full of stuff making it heavy and a pain to carry around? Or when you realize that right when you’ve finally cleaned out your purse, you’re missing something you need?
There will always be days when I need to grab my wallet, phone, and keys and run to the grocery store or some other errand. But when it comes to my everyday purse, it’s essential that I have certain things with me.
These are the 4 things I ALWAYS have on hand. You’ll wonder how you ever got through the day without them!
My hands can get very dry, especially in the winter. If I get lazy or forget to moisturize, I definitely regret it later. I have to keep this lotion in my purse. Using just a bit on my hands works wonders for my dry skin!
For someone who was addicted to ChapStick, this has been a lifesaver for me. I was reluctant to try it because it seemed a little pricey, but I was so glad that I did! One small container lasts forever (I probably buy it a couple times a year), so it’s actually SAVING me money. Just a little bit of this stuff lasts almost all day. It’s perfect because it feels like it’s truly healing my lips, not just temporarily soothing them. And I can’t remember the last time I had chapped lips!
3. Hair Ties
I hate forgetting to bring a hair tie when I’m running out the door. I’ve recently tried these spiral ties. And no, they are not for your keys! What’s great about these is that they keep a better hold on our hair, even in loose hair styles. They also prevent the headaches and frizzy fly-aways we get when we pull tight on our hair. Another benefit is that the design minimizes the dent that typical scrunchies leave in our hair. For a backup, go ahead and add one to your key ring!
If you haven’t tried them yet, I suggest you give them a shot! People of all hair types are loving them, even with my extra-curly hair! They’re especially great when I need a loose bun or ponytail to keep my curls overnight.
This one needs no explanation. Everyone knows what it’s like to be out on vacation, at a party, or anywhere, and see a low battery on our phone. Depending on where you are, you may be able to plug it into an outlet. But what if you can’t? These portable phone chargers fit practically anywhere. Just make sure it’s fully charged before an outing and have your adapter cable. If your phone needs charged, connect it to your phone. I’ll never go on another trip without it!
